Norfolk asparagus served with a deep fried poached egg and hollandaise sauce 7.50

Chicken Caesar salad with Cos lettuce, topped with crispy Parma ham, our own rosemary croutons and parmesan shavings 7.50/11.50 (no anchovies)

Fritto Misto – whitebait and squid, squid ink and lemon mayonnaise, bread and butter 7.50

Asparagus, samphire and pea risotto topped with rocket and pea shoots with parmesan 7.25 √

Castle Inn fish platter – shell on prawns, anchovies in oil, smoked salmon, peppered mackerel with caper salad, pickled cucumber, caper berries and our own sea salted bread 8.50

Eggs Benedict- our own ham with a soft poached egg and hollandaise on sour dough bread 7.50

Soup of the day with fresh bread and butter 5.00 √ Soup and a sandwich for one person 10.00

The Innkeeper’s Lunch
A board of locally cured sliced pastrami, salami and sliced chorizo, our own honey roast ham, smoked salmon and peppered mackerel, cheddar, brie and Shipcord cheese, olives, cornichons, Rockin’ Nannies chutney, hummus and pesto dressed bell pepper salad all served with farmhouse bread and butter 12.50 for 1 or 22.00 with enough for 2 to share or 28.00 with a carafe of red or white wine. Add 1/2 a portion of chips for only 1.75!

Served on white, granary or gluten free+ bread with pesto dressed salad leaves

Open spring vegetable pie with feta cheese, basil, artichoke hearts, asparagus, spring greens, rocket and toasted hazelnuts with our own tomato sauce and new potatoes 12.00

Plaice fillet simply grilled with lemon butter and samphire, new potatoes and vegetables 14.50

Fish dishes are made using fresh fish therefore small bones are always a possibility .
