The Innkeeper’s Lunch*

board of locally cured sliced pastrami, salami and sliced chorizo, our own honey roast ham, smoked salmon and smoked haddock pate, cheddar and brie, dolmades and olives, cornichons, Rockin’ Nannies chutney, hummus and pesto dressed salad all served with farmhouse bread and butter gf 13.00 for 1 or 22.50 with enough for 2 to share or 29.00 with a carafe of red or white wine. Add 1/2 a portion of chips for only 1.75!


Main Courses

Tender braised lamb shoulder with red wine, thyme, samphire and smashed new potatoes 16.00 gf

Sweet and sizzling sticky pork belly ribs with roasted summer vegetables, salad leaves, cajun potato wedges and créme fraiche 14.50

Butcher’s best 21 day hung 8oz sirloin steak with a rich Rioja jus, sautéed mushrooms, dauphinoise potatoes or chips 19.50 gf

Char grilled aubergine and courgettes filled with a fava bean ragout, finished with a white balsamic, parmesan and rocket. Served with dauphinoise potatoes. 13.00 gf

Plaice fillet simply grilled with lemon butter and samphire and new potatoes 16.50 gf

Chicken Saltimbocca – escalope served with sage and Parma ham, with a creamy sauce and dauphinoise potatoes 14.00 gf

Bar and Restaurant Hours Summer 2018 - Closed Mondays. Open for lunch on Sundays. Open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday. Food served 12-2.30pm and 6-8.30pm.
